About Us

Cheap Holidays Travelwasp is a trading name of Qwerty Travel Limited - and the team running Qwerty Travel have been working together since 1996 when they were behind a company called Gemstone.

Gemstone was highly successful – in fact it was so successful that it was bought by Lastminute.com in 2004. However, the spirit of Gemstone lived on – the same team (see below) replicated an identical concept when Qwerty Travel Limited was born in 2006, firstly as part of Youtravel.com Limited and subsequently as the independent company we are today.

Despite so many high-profile casualties within the travel industry during the past few years, and despite the difficult economic difficulties that have affected us all, Qwerty have managed to grow year on year. We honestly believe that this is because we offer an excellent service as well as excellent prices, with great staff who are genuinely interested in getting the best possible deals for all their customers.

We are not anonymous – you can call us and speak to one of our team if you do not want to book via the website. We’ll always be glad to discuss your requirements and give you advice – we know that some people are reluctant to make bookings on-line so if that’s the case please call us and we will reassure you that we are really here and that we are here to help.
