Ixia is on the north coast of the island, 6 km from the old city of Rhodes. It is modern and peaceful and boasts being one of the most beautiful places on the island. With crystal clear waters and surrounded by green hills, this is the ideal place to relax. The resort offers plenty of accommodation, from 5 star hotels to small and comfortable rooms. Watersports are abound in this resort, so if you want to try your hand at windsurfing or scuba diving, this is the place for you.

Dining out is not a problem as there are numerous restaurants and bars serving a variety of meals. There are plenty of tourist shops to browse, but if you require a little something different, why not take a trip to the old City of Rhodes, where you will find the Turkish quarter for that something special.

Needless to say, the weather is gorgeous all year round, and the sunsets are something not to be missed.

"We recently returned from a lovely holiday to Amsterdam which we booked through Travel Wasp. The hotel was new modern and perfect for a city break. Amsterdam is definitely a must see city which I will be going back to as well as booking again with Travel Wasp!"
