Ialyssos holidays are a mere 8 kilometres south of Rhodes Town, but it contrasts greatly with the island’s capital.
Whilst it is one of the smallest municipalities of Rhodes, it is also one of the biggest in population terms (12,000 approx.). Unsurprisingly, it has a very intimate feel for this reason.
The resort’s climate and breezy weather make it one of the most popular for windsurfing, amongst other watersports, with many competitions held there each year. The beach is a mix of shingle and pebbles, and stretches for miles along the coast. Alongside it there are many bars, restaurants and tavernas, offering a wide range of cuisine, plus plenty of souvenir shops.
The resort can cater for a wide range of age groups. Couples and groups of friends will enjoy the varied and vigorous nightlife whilst the little ones will have no end of fun on the expansive beach. No matter what your age or party, an Ialyssos holiday will have something for everyone.
