Torremolinos was the first major resort on the Costa Del Sol. This clean and attractive resort has seen a redevelopment over the years, and now features many beautiful public gardens and attractions.
Torremolinos has six main beaches which are connected by the seafront promenade, Paseo Maritimo, and there are plenty of beachfront cafes which sell snacks and drinks. Alternatively Torremolinos has many great local bars where you can rest your feet and enjoy some ice cold sangria. The pedestrianised street Calle San Miguel is the heart of the shopping district, and leads to the pretty fishing village of El Bajondillo. The resort is lively in the evenings, and a popular spot is Pipers, said to be the largest disco in Europe.
