A Limassol holiday will take you to the second largest town in Cyprus, and one that is rich in activity and history.
Cultural attractions include the Lemesos Medieval Museum, The Municipal Art Gallery, the Sanctuary of Apollo Hylates and the Kourion archeological site, with ruins dating back as far as 12th century BC. There is also plenty to be seen after dark as well, with the town having a vigorous theatre and other performing arts scene.
Those that like to leave the sightseeing behind come nightfall, however, will no doubt be welcoming of the huge variety of restaurants, bars and clubs that are on offer. Furthermore, if culture and history are things you wish to avoid during the day, Limassol has a fantastic range of sports facilities including golf courses, go kart tracks, bowling alleys and horse riding clubs. Whatever it is that makes the sun shine brightest for you, you'll certainly be spoilt for choice with a Limassol holiday.
