About 40 miles from Faro airport is where your Alvor holiday shall take place, and about 4 miles further is where you shall reach the end of the beautiful, vast Torralta beach that spans the resort. Whilst it has some of the best facilities, it is by far one of the least crowded in the Algarve, making way for plenty of great spots to relax in the sun.
There is also a wide range of activities to take part in, such as watersports, golf and horse riding. Nightlife is generally as quiet as the beach, although there is nonetheless an abundance of bars and restaurants throughout the town. Considering the resort's very laid-back, peaceful atmosphere, an Alvor holiday is very much one for the couples, though friend groups and families shouldn't finds themselves too starved of activity.
